We saw Sigur Ros last night and it was amazing.

I still don't understand how someone's voice can be that beautiful. Gave me chilllls!

TMBG was okay... they aren't too bad, but when you don't know much of the music it gets old after about 5 songs.

If I can get someone to trade shifts with me, I'll see Rogue Wave for free next week.

Mates of State!!!
Despite going by myself, the sound quality being bad (you could barely even hear Jason), and very long waits (for the doors to open, for the other bands to come out) this was a FUCKIN AMAZING concert!!!!!!

I wondered if they would. It makes me feel better simply because I couldn't go in the first place, but it sucks for you and others who went. And of course the injured band member.

Built to Spill !

They are still in the midst of their play-all-of-Perfect From Now On-tour, so that "opened" the show leaving room for only three other songs, two of which were in the encore. Set: PFNO->Goin' Against Your Mind - Car - Carry The Zero.
It was nothing short of awesome seeing the Perfect From Now On songs performed live, but the thing about PFNO is that it wasn't really sequenced as a live set, and it seemed like people were sort of hungry for a little variation in the set come "Out of Site". However everything picked up once in a while, with Kicked It in the Sun and Goin Against Your Mind and the encore was rad, with a nice singalong for Car. Great sound, loud and viscious.
