Dang that was rough. I realize a lot of people have covered that song. I just wanted people to watch some of my stuff. i have a few covers, and figured i'd try to let some fans of death cab see the only death cab cover i have done. I really like the song. It's not at all my favorite song by them. I wasn't trying to offend you or anyone and wasn't trying to spam anything. I just like to play music and just trying to get my stuff more out there. you're right i posted it a lot but i didn't mean to. it wasn't displaying that it was working on my computer so i didn't think it worked.

The thing is it's not your stuff, it's someone elses song that you're playing while there's a video camera pointed at you, and then you're posting it on youtube so people can compliment you on how good "your stuff" is. Go write your own music.

I disagree. Just because he didn't write it doesnt mean he can't share it. And to be honest, it wasn't a complete failure of a cover. What annoyed me is that A. people covering I Will Follow You is getting a little old and B. You posted it 4 times.
The first time I saw one of your posts I was just like "*sigh* heres another I Will Follow You cover." Then I saw that you were spamming it all over the board, so I concluded that you were an asshole. And no, I don't buy your excuse that you didnt know it was working so you decided to post it more times.

when i was referring to "my stuff" i was referring to original songs i have done. I'm trying to get more people to see those than anything else. It doesn't bother me that everyone on here is upset about it. I honestly wasn't trying to spam the message board. I just wanted people to watch my video and give me some feedback lol. If everyone hates my voice and thinks i suck, that's fine, but that's honestly what i'm after. If i suck, i wanna know about it so i can get better. i honestly don't think the people playing covers makes people look like douche bags. maybe some people can't write their own songs, and just like to play music. I really like playing music, and it i'm trying to get better. I make the videos so i can get critiques on what people think so i can get myself better. That's the only reason i cover songs because people have heard those songs, and know what to compare it to. I wasn't trying to act like a douche or pass the song off as mine in any way. I posted the song too many times, but that was because every time i hit post now, it wasn't doing anything, and when i closed the box it wasn't showing up. When i got to school today i noticed that it posted like 4 or 5 times. I eventually just made my own thread because that was the only way i could get it to show up for some reason, at least that's what i thought. I'm honestly sorry, cuz i seemed to have pissed people off, and i'm willing to admit that the song has been done a lot. I just wanted to get input from fans of DCFC, and i thought the message board was a reasonable place to do it.

the only reason i put youtube covers up is to get feed back. i did a dcfc song, and wanted fans of dcfc to give me some input on the cover. thats the only reason i posted a dcfc cover on a dcfc message board. The idea sounded good at the time. I was wrong is guess haha. I don't mind people dissing me. I really like dcfc and just wanted some input. i don't try to write songs like ben either. I don't try to write like anybody but myself.
