wasnt looking for that. was wondering how you work it. what are you supposed to do when it seems like your entire library has already been uploaded to the site? when uploading do you upload .torrents or do you just upload a folder with the files in it and waffles will convert it to torrent? and do you eventually get banned for never uploading anything and just downloading the crap out of that site?

i'm not exactly sure how you make a torrent. but there are special programs for it. waffles don't convert it. you don't have to upload anything. the only important thing is your ratio there. if you won't seed enough you will be banned.

The whole point of a torrent is that you will never have to upload the actual files to a server. When you make a torrent, you make a file that knows what files to connect with (an album torrent will be associated with the mp3's and artwork on your computer), and when you connect that torrent to the internet others can download the torrent, open it and hook up with you and start downloading the files from your harddrive. When that happens you will be uploading to their harddrives = your ratio goes up.

You don't even have to upload any of your own music really, as you can just download a very popular torrent and when you have finished downloading the particular album or whatever others will start "leeching" it from you. So you can download an album once and upload it to three other people, just by keeping the torrent open for a while.

Yeah it is. That's why I just leech everything and feel no obligation to upload all the time.
