B. tears would hardly be useful as a lubricant. that is just silly. C. it is more than just the 70 seconds i have to wait to download the songs. it is the additional 12 minutes i have to wait to download a second file as well as the time it takes to correct all the random mis-capitalizations in the song names and album names (ie half of the zero 7 album was labeled "Yeah ghost" and the other half was labeled correctly "Yeah Ghost" and all of the songs were in lower case). D. rapidshare has the most terrible upload speeds of all time. It took me like 30 mins to download one album. So lets do the math here. You uploaded 5 links. 5 albums x 90 sec = 7.5 mins 4 wait periods x 12 mins = 48 mins 5 albums x 30 mins downloading = 150 mins 5 albums x 3 mins fixing info = 15 mins 7.5 + 48 + 150 mins +15 mins = 3 hrs 40 minutes 30 seconds If you think that I last almost 4 hours, then you are dreaming. |

Ok I'll give you the waiting 12 minutes for extra files bit but the mis-tagging has absolutely fuck all to do with rapidshare. D. B. Ok, fine. Maybe I havent tried it, but I am willing to bet that if I did, it wouldn't work very well. C. Mis-tagging has to do with the twat who uploaded this stuff. Perhaps you have a link the the blog? D. Maybe it is. to sum up. There is a difference between complaining about the means of getting the music, and getting the music at all. |

Yep, it's already down... Who cares? The one that you gave up on is Memory Tapes - seek magic. Pitchfork gave it 8.3 if you like that sort of thing (but pitchfork also gave the flaming lips new album 9 which is silly considering it is mostly just a pile of crap). Also, weirdly, they also only just reviewed Neon Indian's Psychic Chasms record. It is probably better than Memory Tapes...but I told you about that one probably three months ago so...yeh. Find it yourself. Also, I've never had that happen to me so you should probably move to Australia and that will make stealing music a little bit easier maybe. I don't know, your thoughts? Also, Purp, your blog is pretty good. It's nice to see that you can actually write properly once in a while and are able to avoid making references to where poop comes from for more than 5 minutes. _______________________ 4 |

thanks brendan i didn't know people knew i was the purp haha oh well yeah i'm a pretty normal guy just passionate about music, glad you like the blog I work pretty hard on it. I'm also involved in blalock's indie rock playlist, i'm outroversion there too.
