I turn 18 in October, so I registered to vote today.

You have to pick republican or democrat to vote in the primary, (Kentucky primary, woo) so I picked republican as I tend to be a little more slanted towards conservative-ism but I don't really know who I'll vote for. Watching the news I cant find out a thing about their policies. I'll have to research around before November.

these signatures look like part of the post.

My friend won't be 18 either, so she's made a deal with a friend who doesn't care about politics that he will vote for who she wants, lol.

That's interesting, quick question. Why are you into the election? By no means am I putting you down, its just interesting to see someone from Australia wanting to know about it.

Try CNN.com/politics
or usually just type in google "latest US election results"

These I find to be the best sites
www.nytimes.com
http://www.newsweek.com/id/38584
http://www.tnr.com/
www.slate.com

These are the most balanced and fair in my opinion. It's also interesting to note that whilst I am also Australian, I consider the US result to be far more important than our own election that was held last year, because unfortunately most of our foreign and domestic policies are dictated by what our American counterparts do. I wish I had the chance to vote in these elections myself.

Yeah I suppose that makes sense, just a weird thought.

And this election is going to be huge, America is on a downward spiral and we are either going to continue in this manner, or we are going to begin a new era of american politics in the world.

Yeh pretty much the same reasons as Todd: who wins this election not only gains political control of the USA but to some degree also many other countries.
Thanks for all the sites.
