im not meaning this in a bad way but does any one else notice the simularty between your heart is an empty room. and a snow patrol song i cant quiet remember the name of. Just mostly because of the monotanous drum beat(which actually works and sounds really good) Sorry im to lazy to find out what snow patrol song but i think it is the first one on there cd.

Yes, I noticed some similarities to Final Straw by Snow Patrol on some songs. Both albums have commonalities in theme. 'Your Heart' ... sounds like How To Be Dead especially the intro. I am a huge fan of both artists and would recommend that any DCFC fan give Snow Patrol a casual listen.

i like snow patrol. their lyrics aren't very amazing, but the music itself is quite good. i got to meet the lead singer; he's very nice.

why do you hate coldplay so much? ill admit to not enjoying X&Y, but parachutes and rush of blood to the head are really good albums.

Snow Patrol is definitely not deserving of this trashing by elitist "indie" know-it-all snobs; I mean I haven't listened to that much of them but I think they're pretty good. By the way, Coldplay rules! I saw them live and it was definitely the best concert I've ever seen. Chris Martin is an amazing singer, good songwriter, and great performer. Keep the Coldplay-bashing away from these boards--you can trash them with your indie-snob friends.

I think that the beginning of Soul Meets Body sounds like Psychadelic Furs, and the chorus reminds me of Yes, but y'all are probably too young to know who they are. And if you did know who they were, you would probably flame me anyway. Anyone who derives their identity from the car that they drive or the bands that they listen to has no real identity.

Eh, they're free to bash whomever they want.

yeah really man, i mean parachutes and a rush of blood are really good, and i actualy really like x & y too and i mean its okay saying you dont like em but saying like yuck we i hate them and stuff its like alright we get it..

I must say, Your Heart is my favorite track on the new album.
