My friend and I saw Nights in Rodanthe today with some free passes. It was at least as terrible as we were expecting, possibly worse. Richard Gere gives me the creeps.

Saw "Choke". It was a decent adaptation. A couple of blatantly poor choices, though.

Saw 'Jar City' at my independent cinema the other week, I'd recommend it.

I gotta say I enjoyed it. And Bardem is a great actor. Penélope... not so much. Scarlett and Rebecca really charming.

Saw 'The Wave' this weekend, a German film, quite good but a terrible ending. Also saw 'The Fall' a couple of weeks ago, which release got delayed by 2 year in the UK, loved it.

I don't know if I want to see it, Bill Maher has the tendency of being a tool. How restrained is he at being a tool in this?
