It was a highly stylized, artistic representation of the legend surrounding Marie Antoinette, but I'd say the plot has more substance than people give it credit for. It's an absolutely brilliant film.
word, but i think you have to know about her before you see it. I didn't know about her when i saw it, but after reading about her i was like, ohhhh so thats..... whatever.

I just saw Rocket Science and loved it. And Eef Barzelay of Clem Snide did the soundtrack which impressed me throughout.
