Yeah...this movie, along with Requiem for a Dream and Irrevisible are probably some of the most depressing movies i've watched.

okay... i know this is stirring a MAJOR pot... but i just, finally, watched Crash and i need some clarifications... i'm too lazy to go back and look for previous arguments about this topic...

i missed the first 15 min... but seeing as it was the MOST overhyped film ever made, i figured i hadn't missed much...

anywho... i just need to know when did this movie become ALL about race??? granted there were tons of different people dealing with some racial issues, BUT why don't i remember ANYONE talking about the biggest part of this movie? KARMA!!!

again, i very well could have forgotten, as this was not a movie i wanted to get behind... but yeah...

also, just my two cents... it was a decent movie about Karma, but it still wasn't better than Brokeback...

I saw Man of the Year a while ago and it was awful. It starts out entertaining and funny, but gets bogged down horribly at the end by a plodding and uninspiring storyline. Really could have been much better than it was.

By the way, I just saw Closer and thought it was an awesome film. Natalie Portman and Clive Owen-does it get any better? Anyway, it was a capitivating, well-made drama that left me thinking, which is always good. If faced with a choice between Man of the Year and Closer, choose Closer. (Or Babel; I have to watch that again!)
