I'm wondering what has happened to these boards in the last few months. Before, there was always something (interesting) going on. Now it seems like threads just stagnate. I thought a band's message board gets busier when the band becomes more popular.

the night owls all have been banned or just haven't been around...

Like any community people come and go, some might have new jobs, new partners, new lives. I loved some of the old members, hated some as well, same with the new ones. I wish people would stop bitching how they used to be better and try to actually improve them by posting something creative.

We true indie kids decided Death Cab was too mainstream for our liking, and moved to more indie bands like Green Day and Fall Out Boy.

This the boards are boring thing is getting as bad as the people here who talk about the old boards nonstop. THe boards are only as good as the people who are on them. I fail to see how saying they suck makes them more entertaining.

I'm not talking about the Old Boards and "the way it was." I'm referring to the difference in the past eight weeks or so. But it was said that the boards are only as good as the people on them.

Well, I've only been here since November, but I do agree that in the last few weeks it has been fairly slow around here.

But I'm always down to spice things up!!! So lets make the boards interesting again, minus the spamming.

Things that have happened to make this board slow

1) spammers, then closing of boards to clean
2) Me
3) spammers again
4) me
5) death cab not touring
6) death cab in different country

James, you forgot to mention YOURSELF!
I mean your a critical part to the boards survival.

of course james is! he was the first person i ever got in a fight with on the boards! and now he's a fav. so, he needs to add himself to the list for sure.

haha, i guess you take a little time to grow on us. now we're getting married! quite the change.
