Jenny Lewis - Acid Tongue
Long time Rilo fan. Rabbit Fur Coat was pretty good but I haven't touched it since the initial months I owned it. First songs I heard on her space got me excited.

John Vanderslice - Time Travel is Lonely
C'mon... It's JV. I've "had" this album for a while but felt the dire need to own the real deal.

We Are Scientists - With Love and Squalor
I'm a bit backwards with this band; bought Brain Thrust Mastery and enjoyed it, so I'm checking out their earlier effort. I think someone on this board said it was good, and it was only 5 bucks at Amoeba!! $TRAIGHT BALLIN.

the twilight sad- fourteen autumns & fifteen winters

... don't listen to it that much, but I think the album's decent for a debut. First time buying a cd without knowing/hearing what kind of music they make. Just thought that the cover looked cool :]

Herbie Handcock- Head Hunters
やなわらばー- 青い宝

I also got the Japanese version of Steely Dan's Aja to listen to while riding in my girlfriend's car. The new notes included in the CD are both hilarious and insightful. I think it's mixed differently than the American version, too.

Radiohead - The Bends
Radiohead - Amnesiac

Both on vinyl. I forgot Borders sold records, so when I saw Radiohead's entire discography there, I had to get them.
