I can't even describe how I feel about this. It is so fantastic. Holy crap. What an incredible election. I feel so lucky to have had it as my first election.

Now I just have to hope Merkley wins our Senate seat, and stop reminding myself about Prop 8 in CA.

Yes a lot of people place hope in him. But I think, seen from the old Europe, he's the best solution after Bush.

I have never felt more proud to be an american as I did last night watch Obama's speech, I truly these next 4 years at least will be much better!

Don't wish to appear pedantic here, but why is Obama being described as the USA's first black president? Surely one of his parents (can't remember which) is white?

had to get up early this morning and it just happened to be at the time Obama made his speech. Best early wakeup ever. I feel like i can take America serious again, now i'm just worried about how Green Day will make a living.

You're gonna learn pretty quickly (if you haven't already) that most indie music fans (and musicians) are rather liberal.

If I was American and McCain was black, I would have voted for him. But I'm not and he's not so I didn't. Yep. Good.
