I've been fairly busy this year, so I have not really been paying attention to new releases, so I was wondering if you guy could just throw out any albums that have been released this year that an Indie Music fan would enjoy.

so far i've liked Bloc Party's "A Weekend in the City", "Cassadaga" by Bright Eyes, Andrew Bird's "Armchair Apocrypha", a few tracks off "Neon Bible"(but the album hasn't done much for me). I feel like i'm leaving some out...
oh Menomena's new cd was pretty good. if you don't want the whole cd at least get "Muscle N' Flo"

thats what i was gonna say. that albums incredible, the more you listen to it.

i really like the new Cocorosie, but thats not really indie. same with !!!.
Menomena's new one is pretty good. same with Aqueduct.

albert hammond jr. - yours to keep

he's one of the strokes guitarists
and i like this better than any stroke album,it's great pop music, and reminds of john lennon. and sean lennon plays on it...
