The band announced today that after 3 albums, they're going their separate ways. Solo projects are in the future, and they're going to call it quits for this one. I'm really bummed out about this!

Was anyone else as into this band as me?

i screamed. loud. i hope they heard me, i told them to play atlanta before they go. and not the fucking earl (21+).

i was messing around online at work yesterday instead of working on my spreadsheet when I came across the story about their breakup. i gasped so loudly that the other guy in my office thought that i was choking or something. he kept asking me if i was okay after that.

anyway, i'm really saddened by the news, as they were probably in my top 10 favorite bands ever. i just take solace in the fact that i at least got to see them live a few times before they decided to call it quits.

they'll most definitely be missed as a group, but i'm interested in what their post-q and not u endeavors will be like.

Their remaining shows are in NY, NJ and DC. I'm distraught that I never got to see them live. "Different Damage" is one of my alltime favorite albums--and they were definitely one of my favorite bands.

When I read it I literally said, "noooooooo!"
