FF7 and 10 are my faves. they equally brilliant in their own different ways.
i'm looking forward to FF12 but i heard the format has changed a conciderable amount the story sounds odd.

but i'm willing to gove it a go

You do just have to trust the companies sometimes, besides nowadays you can trade games in and get all your money back anyway if you don't like it. I'll be getting 12 with bells on!

One thing for sure, the PS3 has had a very bad preview so far, everyone was dissapointed at E3, I've always hated Playstation, so that makes me happy!

I can`t play horror games, otherwise I get nightmares of zombies or whatever.

Horror games used to do that to me too, actually I'm a bit of a woos so most things creep the shit out of me, I figure, if I'm going to be creeped out by things anyways, I may as well get some enjoyment out of it first. Besides, that's why brothers are good, cause they can watch you play so you don't get scared.

I originally got XIII on Gamecube and loved it, the single player story and gameplay was awesome and the multiplayer was so fun! I love it how you jump on peoples heads and kill them. I'd just wait about a corridoor and then when I saw someone coming just drop down, hehe.

But I got rid of my faulty Gamecube (made a bit of money from it, too ) and got the game on xbox and just didn't find it as fun. I don't know why, I could just never get into it as much...

As of right now I'm playing Myst, Halo, Kingdom Hearts 2, and Time Splitters 2. Although I don't play much

I just bought kingdom hearts 2 the other day. Been having a blast with it so far, even though the begining was slow.

my friends and i were playing some sick bond games last night. multiplayer bond is the best...besides mario games, of course.

maybe I'm the only one, but I strongly dislike video games...to me they're a complete waste of time and not even fun, but to each his own...

I guess if you don't find them fun then it's fair enough. But what's the difference between video games and reading a good book? Or sitting down with some friends and watching a movie, or a great tv show on dvd? Well except that it's more social because you're actually talking and interacting with people. Riddle me these!

It can be social... some mario party, super smash bros, or a FPS with friends is very fun in my opinion.

All right, so initially I promised myself that I wouldn't buy one of the new consoles(Wii, PS3, and 360), but after witnessing Halo 3, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, and Assassin's Creed, I'm beginning to break away from that vow. So question for those with either PS3 or 360: which one would you recommend? I hear that 360 is better just for Halo itself, but apparently PS3 is supposed to better in the long run...?
And is getting a new system even worth it, or did they get old fast and you recommend I spend my money elsewhere?
