Hey, I'm not new to Death Cab but I have fallen in love with them finally. I just started (maybe 10 minutes ago) a site dedicated to all of their acoustic stuff.
Some of it was grabbed here, and other various spots around the web, but you can go check it out.
Again, it's very new and I don't have much which is also why I'm posting here. If anyone here has some sweet (GOOD quality) acoustic stuff of theirs, leave a comment with a link or something and I'll be sure to post it. Or reply to this thread with some good stuff.
Would it be prudent to put up some of the stuff from the 3rd Floor Coffeehouse show? I mean, Ben definitely plays a lot of stuff acoustic, but he butchers a couple of his own songs -- "Song for Kelly Huckaby" is incredible outside of a few hitches -- including one where he's playing great full-chord stuff and then messes up, full out stops, yells "Dammit!", and then continues playing quietly.
Also, easily found floating around (I can re-up some of it given some time): * "Cath..." from the BBC6 session * A lot of Ben's shows from his recent solo tour are floating around -- he played a bunch of songs fairly regularly like "Title and Registration," "A Lack of Color," etc. The NPR set he did would be good for that, too...
Also, I don't know where you got some of those release dates from. Planes came out before Facts, and Chords came out after Facts (the version you're referring to anyway).

The release date on "Chords" is always sort of arbitrary unless you're very clearly delineating between the +10 version and the original eight-song cassette. With this sort of thing I don't think it really matters all that much.
you say that, but before you know it there's 50 websites out there with misleading information and a bunch of misinformed teens. i mean i assume this person got the wrong info off a site just like theirs :P
