Hey, I'm new here and I was wondering if I could request a list of songs that DCfC has covered, and possibly where to get them or an upload of them. I currently have "This Charming Man", and "Love Song". Thanks in advance.

I don't know how many are missing because that site hasn't been updated in over a year. But that'll get you started. Some of them might not actually be recorded anywhere, I don't really know.

I'm so stupid, I totally forgot about that site. Thanks. Do you know where I could get some of these songs?

woodlebert: I got Love Song from another topic on this board.

they've certainly covered some incredible songs over the years. i would love to hear bens cover of elliott smiths say yes if anyone has it?

a number of those listed have been played as the outro to 'blacking out the friction'. from what i know:

All Is Full Of Love [Bjork]
Hysteria [Def Leppard]
I Wanna Be Adored [Stone Roses]
The Mess Inside [The Mountain Goats]
Brand New Love [Sebadoh]

im sure theres heaps more too.

i wonder what andys up to these days? is he on this forum anymore? or the barsuk one? he has'nt updated the site in ages. which is a real shame because its such an valuable source of information and recording of the bands travels. one of the most dedicated and best fan sites i've ever personally seen. i still visit it regularly to check up on past shows and details and such. i hope he comes back to it soon Smiler

I'm pretty sure someone said they covered "Your Ex-lover is Dead" by Stars after BOTF. I'd kill to hear it.

I've been wondering the same. That's such a great site. It's probably quite the task to keep it updated, though.

I'll go upload some songs now and post them later.

Try YouTube for Devo stuff.

Alright, here we go. I split it into two zip files. Apparently I didn't label where a lot of them are from, so sorry about that. Also sorry to people who only need like one of these. It was easiest to zip them. If there's really only one specific one you want, let me know and I'll upload it alone later. In case you can't figure it out it's

pez, did you happen to attend the said architecture 5th birthday celebration last year? i so desperateley wanted to be there. two of my favorutie bands playing together, death cab for cuite and knievel. thats got to be a match made in the stars; a dream lineup. knievel rarely play shows, period! sigh, that night would have been so incredibly special.
