This is pretty interesting, thanks.

What was the deal with 1:17 on part IV... what's ben doing?

Moody Ben is moody. On the other hand he looks pretty hot, must be said. I know I would. Also it was nice to hear more from Nick for a change.

Anyone else get the impression in those videos that the interviewer was taking some liberties with time? Hmm

Nice interview all in all, covered a little ground that isn't usually covered in these things.

I'm thinking that's "yeah, let's move this along here". There's an odd atmosphere in the interview, like the guys from faceculture just grabbed them away from practice for "five minutes"

Yea, I couldn't quite figure it out... the atmosphere was definately weird... and there was that point when ben was complaining about some guy walking towards their dressing rooms?

It looked like ben did the definite "let's get this thing rolling" hand motion, but nick just looked completely confused and very sad... it was a very strange thing to watch. At first, I thought it was ben saying "just let me handle this one", but I think that maybe you're right... maybe faceculture, himself, knows about it???

i didn't think it was THAT weird.. i think ben's just probably tired and a little pissed off that he has to answer the same/similar questions all the time. obviously he knows it comes with the territory, but i bet it's fairly draining.

I've often found Ben to be fairly moody during interviews and such. From what I can tell though, yeah, I think someone is sort of waiting for them. They seem like they are in a bit of a rush. He spots someone who's waiting for them and he makes that motion to show he's coming and is annoyed that the interview is taking long. Notice how he rushes out of the seat at the end: "OK thank you!" bolting up.

Ahhh... ok, it makes a little more sense now. I thought it was something to do with Ben trying to communicate with Nick. If you look at Nick's eyes after Ben makes the motion, it looks like someone told him some absolutely horrible news or something haha.

If you listen to how some of the questions are asked and then interviewer responses, they can be a bit irritating. Obviously a European bent, intrusive, tedious. If you go to the web sites other interviews - Amie Mann for one - she's trying her best to be cooperative but still rolling her eyes and looking for a way out. I'm blaming the interviewer on this one.

Hm as much as I don't wanna fall into the trap of spending actual time analysing an interview-
I find Ben usually quite jovial in interviews. This is the only one he's seemed a little 'ticked off'.

Also, not sure if 'a European bent' is necessarily negative, slapshot. Razzer

My "European bent" isn't meant to be insulting. Rather their manner of asking questions can sometimes come across as intrusive. Little things like that I suspect can get annoying. I'm just sayin'.
