hmm...i remmeber when i first purchased that EP.. i was far far from my home town of LOng Beach California. on a summer road trip i took to omaha nebraska the home of Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst (im pretty sure) and we stopped in colorodo springs, where me and my friend walked into a local record shop, that actually sold death cab for cutie shirts. (AMAZING) the EP had just been released, and i was sure it wasn't gonna be back in Long Beach, at the local "Target" in their music section. so i took my chances and bought that sucker. we rode bikes to the house that we werer staying at. i then popped that cd in there. and we both laughed at how ben sang "everyTHING i said was true" on Photobooth. then later on the trip back that cd case got wet cause there was this huge storm and the dumbass left the window open to the 1984 ford pickup truck that had no air condition and was extremely annoying sleeping in with 3 people in there. and passing by LAS VEGAS IN THE SUMMER. not to mention the car overall sucked and we thought it broke down so waited for this rescue for like an hour, only to realize the wrong gas tank was in use. and thats the story of how i went to nebraska and it was gay.
