i dont doubt that it will be huge...but it would be huger if half the pricks that arent going to buy the album because they already have it would buy it

By being on a bigger label, they are going to appeal to a lot of mainstream douchebags of the downloading generation. Whereas, all their old fans will most definitely by their record. I wonder how many people here say they buy albums but really don't.

I see Death Cab in those kinds of stores all the time. Including a bunch of other bands that you wouldn't expect to be in a store like Target. And if people get the leak, so be it, it happens to all albums that have come out in the last couple of years that were worth leaking. Too many of you are afraid of Death Cab becoming a big band. I don't see anything wrong with that, as long as they can stand to keep to their roots going through the process. And that's pretty hard from the looks of a lot of bands that went mainstream, but maybe Death Cab can pull it off.

Keep in mind that, if some people are going to download the album instead of buying it, they're going to do it no matter what. It doesn't matter if it leaks now or if they have to wait until it officially comes out and someone just rips it. It's all the same to them.
that's going to happen anyways. I mean how many people just download albums. The way I see it, is that if you downlaod it and like it your prolly more likley to buy it. I dowloaded it and I'm still buying it.
