I stumbled across this player which appears to have a full Postal Service show. The quality is great!! I have no idea of the date or venue.

Maybe someone can listen and recognize the show?
I would love to download the tracks but can't figure out how to do it. I don't have any live Postal Service.

If you scroll down you'll see the rest of the tracks.

enjoy! Wink

Who was the female singer?? Her pitch was kinda shakey a lot of the time (I've only listened to district os far).

But ya, this is way cool! Thanks a bunch Big Grin.

Edit: I guess it's J lewis~ it certainly didn't sound like her on that first song, but on the subsequent ones it does.

Nice find - in case folks aren't aware, the link below is the only live performance available for view that I know of. It was recorded during their one and only tour in 2003. Enjoy! www.kcrw.com/music/programs/mb/mb030506the_postal_service

Could it possibly be Joan Hiller, Ben's (then?) girlfriend? I heard that she performed a couple of shows with the Postal Service...it does sound like Jenny at times, although the pitch is off quite a bit.

I believe the only time Ms Hiller performed with the Postal Service was at Benicassim in spain 3-4 summers ago. Chris Walla was also on stage with Ben, Jimmmy and Joan during the same show.

The best part is Ben's drumming. Freaking amazing.

The worst part is cutting out half a song just so the DJ can do his "thank yous" Roll Eyes

So I was just listening to this live recording and the chick really ruins it. She sounds like she has a bad cold.

Maybe its the show they did for the United States Postal Service, and just brought along some girl who couldn't sing so that the mail carriers all thought, "this band sucks, let them do whatever they want with our company name...uhg..."
