Justin. Any chance if you could ask James if you could share it with me?
Cheers

Yeah definitely. I'm sure he'd be fine with it because he said he's been freely sending it to anyone who asks him, but I'll check with him just to be sure.

Also, I'm not looking to trade my Saloon Song +2 EP (bark18) right now, because it holds extreme sentimental value to me. I actually found it used at Easy Street Records in Seattle after going on this insane search for it. The lady at the counter said I got pretty lucky because they had received it the day before.

Justin, I think my list may be confusing you, as it's only an excerpt from my Barsuk spreadsheet (which also has fields for t-shirts, badges and stickers, licensed edition etc.), so its not clear what I am short of.

I have Saloon Song CD single, but don't have the promotional Barsuk poster for it. But while you're on to James about the unreleased album you could see if he has a spare copy of the poster in the attic?

Mike, just talked to James Mendenhall and he said that he's totally fine with me sending the album your way. Doesn't think he has any posters though. And he also told me to tell you to keep in mind that these were roughly recorded demos and that the songs may be released eventually but better quality. so how do you want me to do this? by email? or should i just zip them up and put them on sendspace or something?

...the only reason why i ever buy vinyl is because it's cheaper than CDs. I go to the swap meet and get records for a dollar. To me, that's the way to go haha. Of course I don't bother looking for new stuff (that goes for about everything anymore).

Thanks for sorting this out Justin! Can you zip and put them on sendspace (I am pretty crap at these technical things) do I need to register with sendspace? In case I miss it my email is mikejmccusker(at)hotmail.com.

Shame about the posters. The last few Barsuk record promo posters are proving a bugger to track down. Just got "Something About Airplanes" poster last week after checking eBay daily years. This leaves only Forbidden Love poster to sort for DCFC and posters for this lot:
little champions pillows
john vanderslice mass suicide occult figurines
little champions transactions + replications
john vanderslice time travel is lonely
the prom saloon song +2

They sure did do "Shiver Holds". I'm assuming you heard Ben's cover of it? It was on their album called "In This Way They Found Me" that was released on Panther Fact Records in Portland. The album is kind of hard to find new, but I recently got it used on Amazon. That song is really awesome, and though Ben's cover is good, it doesn't do the end of the song any justice. (The "do you ever think? do you ever dream?" part)

And Mike, you don't need to register for anything. I'll zip it up and put it on sendspace, then email you the link. Also, do you have the Japanese promo poster for The Photo Album, with all the Japanese writing on it? I actually have that if you don't. I'm assuming you do, but I don't know if you have all the foreign promo posters, so I figured I'd check.
