thanks brian. i have seen that one before, but it clearly isn't right. i'd like to figure how he really plays it, like in this video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViuRh6nkDG0&feature=related

clearly not the same as that tab.

You're very welcome brian. I just fixed guitar 1's part for the second part of the chorus, as well as the ending. It should be perfect now.

Will do.

Seriously, good job. I don't even know of anyone that's even attempted that.

Alright, here's what I get from it from the first play through.

-Those verse chords are close, but that's not it. Seems like you've got the root notes down, but they're doing something weird...
-Chorus seems right
-There are maybe a few other notes during the interlude for guitar 2, but that's just about it
-The ending of the interlude should be 13th fret on b, instead of 14 (or, 17th fret on G is easier)

And anything else I didn't cover is spot on. Nice work. Smiler

Thanks for your response Smiler
Nice catch at that interlude part,
I was playing it that way but I wrote 14 for some reason.
I hope the tab will help inspire better ones in the future, I mainly wanted to get the voicings down (watching brianjbeans video helped with those).

EDIT: Also, do you know which particular chords I was a little off on? I'd like to go back and figure them out.

That song is fucking huge - just the guitar parts i mean... holy shit. Nice going.
The verse chords might be right considering Nick is playing the actual root notes. The F# in the second chord works as a major third to Nick's D root note here, but if it sounds weird you could replace it by sliding the first chord up to the fifth fret.
