Please post all your problems here so that we can try to see how this is working. Please post your OS / internet connection / browser. And remember, you need Quicktime. There's a link on the bottom of the trailer page to it.
Brower: firefox/internet explorer with quicktime plugin Internet Connection: "extreme" high speed cable. OS: Windows Xp Service pack 2 Problem: Video stars, stalls a few seconds in. Starts again without music for a few seconds, stops, then times out. I viewed source and tryed to go directly to the video. It did the same thing. It loads and then stops and I get a -5408: Timed Out error.
whats the source of the video?
James, Sounds like you've got a firewall problem of some kind. These videos are quicktime but actual streams. They don't cache the data to your harddrive like normal. This was sort of unavoidable. Investigate your firewall situation.
nevermind. video is amazing. I can't wait for the other ones.
looks good. I think you should have to option to view different qualities of video.
also, i thought talking like turnstiles was going to be included in Directions as well... maybe it'll be on the dvd.
------------------------------------------------------- .
keep reloading it... it eventually works.
I honestly think it's just getting hammered today. Be aware that the quicktime will sit for awhile while it determines your connection speed and sets up the stream, which doesn't normally happen with a downloadable quicktime.
Edit: nvm. works fine now.
great stuff.

ya I've tried it on two comps now on two different connections...Aaron I think it must be getting hammered. They put a myspace message out...thats like 200,000 people. I also tried capturing the stream, not through quicktime. The server still couldn't send it out, it kept cancling.
Also, I don't want to start a thread, but Happy Birthday to a certain person! Directions is a great present.
