I thought it was an amazing vid, but I don't really get it at all, like what is going on in the video? Is it just random events or are they all connected someway? And whats the robot and the dinosaur supposed to symbolize??

I'm not sure if you guys see this, but this is what I took from the video:
The robot and dinosaur symbolize each of them individually, as does the video game with them fighting. Moreover, the scene where he's on the couch playing the video game involves two things. First, he's by himself, and secondly, that he misses the back-and-forth between he and his girlfriend. Even though he rolled his eyes at her, completely discounting her feelings. I'm glad that this is not truly indiciative of how most guys view relationships! :-)

Because he misses that, he goes out to shop for something that would hopefully mend the relationship - which he finds with the robot and dinosaur. He then leaves one of them for her as a keepsake, or a peace offering.

Look at all of Jeffrey's books there.

I recommend starting with Any Easy Intimacy or Clumsy.

That basically sums up what I think. It had a good balance of random artsiness and relation to the song. I'm annoyed when it seems like any song could be played in the background for the same video, which is what I feel for a lot of the other videos. Summer Skin is one of my favorites because I think it achieves this sort of balance the best.

amen brother....i really liked this video a lot, for most of the same reasons quoted above. not only did the visuals tell the story, but the visuals were entertaining in themselves. good video.

I just spent a few days in seattle and a friend of mine asked me to pick up some jeffrey brown comics for her. So I bought 'Every Girl is the End of the World for Me' 'Conversation #2'(I also bought #1 that's not with him) and 'miniature sulk'. I freakin love his stuff. After reading 'Every Girl is the End of the World for Me' you really have a greater appreciation for this video, I think everyone should go pick that up because it's well worth the money.
