Great job Aaron! The mood of the images definitely fit in well with the music. And I think the ending was really well done. Very nice way to finish this wonderful project. Smiler

that's simply amazing. i'm going to buy directions now for sure, if only for that one video. Smiler

only criticism: when the song reaches the "i won't mind" part, it should have been an immediate extreme action, not a gradual shift into the emotional action. i think that would have given it a better effect, and "awoken" people who weren't already captivated by it as i was.

good job!

Yes, I agree, and I forgot to mention.
The main thing I looked forward to in this video was what would happen at the climax of "I won't mind", and I'll admit I was a bit dissapointed at that point.

But still, good work Smiler

I think it would suck if it climaxed at what you consider the climax of the song. That's boring. I also think that the band should use the extra recorded bit that the girl is saying at the end as a sample behind amputations live.

My, oh, my. What a way to end the set. Great video for a great song. Although the epilogue of the video was a little too concrete with details, I got this feeling that what I just saw was based on a real event and the audio was from an actual interview with the girl eight years later. I'm pretty sure that's obvious, though.

And James, using the interview audio behind the intro to Amputations would indeed be awesome.

This video and the story reminded me of a book I read in Junior High called Z for Zachariah. Only because of the Nuclear Holocaust / lost family aspect.

I don't know...one thing that really annoys me about Something About Airplanes is the vocal sampling of that wierd guy. I think it gets in the way of the music.
