Kate - what's the problem? Post in the Directions technical thread please. You've been able to see them before? Every Monday when a new one rolls out the site gets hammered and sometimes you have to try later on. Also, refreshing your web browser manually on the Directions page helps me.

The videos for Marching Bands and Soul Meets Body pale in comparison when considering their concepts. This video had a message and executed it very well. I loved the shots of the kid stamping the words "One more minute you'll never get back" and the "One more hour you'll never get back" slide.
The creators were also very conscious of the song's timing. They used it to create a visual connection between the video and the song. A great example of this is the rows of kids standing up in beat to the single piano notes. I'm a big fan of tying video to music with cutting at specific beats. It's just visually pleasing.
I could take or leave the first two, but I seriously enjoy this one.

I agree. They take the Marching Drum Roll and show how it confines these kids to the space. It's a prison, a March to eternity, if you will. No summer, no swings, no skin.

Pretty clever video I think, definitely my favourite one so far. Although putting kids in a video, is just like one step up from putting animals in a video (im thinking "island in the sun' by weezer) although this video is definitely smarter- you'd kinda be a bastard not to like the kids anywaysn (Or the baby monkeys as the case may be). I saw an alternate to the plans video of soul meet body-- will any of these plans videos be used for MTV or anything like that, or are they strictly for the website and dvd?
