Just watched more... Aaron! What the heck is with your Director's Statement :P lol, oh man. The alternate ending was quite morbid and freaky :| And now, I officially like the Summer Skin video. I feel stupid, because I didn't realize until reading the letter on the DVD that the video was being arranged in the way it was. The camera would start on one object and pan to another, and then the video would cut to a similar object in another scene, which would then pan to another object, which would then cut to another similar object in another scene, etc. I find it a lot cooler now and have an appreciation for this video that I didn't have before!

So I bought the DVD here in the city. I brought it home and immediately went to the Director's statements for each of my personal favorites - Different Names, Crooked Teeth and What Sarah Said. But following that, I went back and looked at all of them, and I was floored by them all... everyone of them. It's given me a greater appreciation for those that I initially didn't care for or quite get, particularly Soul Meets Body. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. But Cat's video statement was so funny, I'm laughing now just thinking about it. It's so self-effacing and helps the video make more sense. Autumn was just as great in her piece. You can see the passion and enthusiasm she brought to the video shoot when she talks about it. I love this DVD. It has so much more than I anticipated. What a great project!
