Kind of boring, to be honest. I wasn't moved at all.

Amazing camera work...
It was interesting the way he showed nature poking through the concrete of the city. I thought it was insightful, but like sMann said, kind of boring. Seriously, how many times can we watch the clouds roll by? It definitely evoked a mood - but I question as to whether it captured the spirit of the song or took it to another level. ____________________ Obama 2008 |

Not moved by this one at all. i'm just waiting for Stable Song, then for the DVD to come out.

so what you're all really trying to say is that it sucked ass, which it did.
I have promises to keep and miles to go before i sleep |

It wasn't phenomonal, but it was way better than most of the stuff.
This is one of the videos that I can actually appreciate for it's camera work and pretty shots instead of trying to decipher how the artist interpreted the video. I think this video just goes well with this song. It's nothing insanely unique, and it didn't move me that much, but I felt at peace and happy just watching it. |

okay so i just saw the video. i have to say that i wasn't all that impressed but i didn't think the video was too bad. there have been much better videos, by far.

shitty and somewhat pretentious, though i think that seeing the cinematography on a screen larger than 2.5" will make a big difference in my opinion. that's probably something that goes for all the videos actually.

I liked it pretty darn well. (hehe) I thought it was a nice video visually, yet parts seemed to show realistic images of city life (reminded me a bit of Rent, the (movie) musical...perhaps more like Death Cab's more "indie," less wealthy days? Capitol Hill even?)

I liked this video, I'm the kind of person that always watchs the sky, so this footage was pleasant. |

Funny to read that people can enjoy good music but cannot enjoy the beauty of film. My favorite so far, not sure what he\she filmed it with but it looks like alot of 16mm films ive loved.

Terrible. It was as though the guy had a cool lapsed photo idea and just happened to put this song as the background music. It was painful to watch, but I had to watch it all the way through because if I didn't and someone said the end was really cool, I would have had to sit through it again, which would have sucked even more.
By far the worst. Had nothing to do with anything as far as I could tell, unless the inevitable passing of time needs to be smashed in your face about 83 times in 4 minutes. I actually wanted to turn it off not even half way through. |

Lame, lame, and lame. This song is WAYYYYYY more deserving than this video. Will definitely be one that gets skipped over on the DVD.

Unfortunately, you're right. Very disappointing in that it didn't do the song justice, and secondly, it had nothing to do with the song... which are two things that could have saved the presentation a bit. It's as though the director had his own agenda, and the song was simply background music for the visual tinkering they were doing. I'd be curious to see how many plays this received. I know there were several of the videos that were seen multiple times by me and many others. My guess is that this will be near the bottom of the play count list.

It's beautiful, and I don't see what's wrong with putting the song as background music.
