I was listening to it again and I see a subtext to the conflict between the devil and god before the fall when he corrupts man, mostly from Paradise Lost, anyone else see this subtext?

I'm obsessed with the lonley road of faith... My family is also very talented musicly and it's all due to my father playing music for more then 40 years. Now my father has cancer and may not make it. Kid Rock has opened my eyes to newer music...and kept me going with his lonley road of faith. So I do understand this subtext.
